Assign Parking and Vehicles

Introduction

Welcome to the guide for the ‘Assign Parking and Vehicle’ feature in iClicka. This feature allows you to allocate designated parking spaces to your staff members and link their vehicles to the assigned parking. The step-by-step guide provided here will help you navigate this process effortlessly.

Prerequisites

Before you start the assigning process, please ensure you have the following data entered into the system:

1. List of companies
2. Details of buildings, floors, and spaces
3. List of staff, including their unique employee numbers
4. Designated parking slots

Step-By-Step Guide to Parking Assignment

1. Open the Parking Management Module on the main page of the iClicka application.

2. Click on the “Assign Parking” button.

3. Enter the unique employee number of the staff member to whom you wish to assign a parking slot. If the employee does not exist in the system, you can:

   • Create a new staff member within the same form by clicking on the “New Staff” button.
   • Navigate to the HR/Admin module to create a new staff record.

4. Input the company name for the assignment.

5. Enter the assignment date.

6. Specify the parking floor.

7. Enter the parking slot number. Available parking slot numbers will be automatically filtered based on the selected parking floor.

8. Choose the company floor.

9. Enter the vehicle details, which include:

   • Vehicle plate number
   • Brand (e.g., Toyota, Nissan)
   • Model (e.g., Pathfinder, Lexus)
   • Type (e.g., 4×4, SUV)
   • Color (e.g., White, Black)
   • Additional remarks about the vehicle (if any)

10. After all the fields are correctly filled in, click “Assign” to save the records. This action will also reserve the parking slot and assign it to the selected staff member.

Note: If a staff member (such as someone in a higher management position) has multiple parking slots for one vehicle, you will need to assign the same vehicle to each parking slot by creating a new parking assignment for each parking number.
