Overview

The “Staff Name Search” form is an indispensable tool for quickly locating specific staff members within your database. By merely entering a part of a staff member’s name into the search bar, the list of staff will automatically filter to display only those names that match the entered criteria.

Key Features:

  1. Dynamic Search: As you type in the search bar, the list updates in real time, filtering out non-matching names.
  2. Multi-field Display: Not only do you get the employee’s full name, but the associated EmployeeNo, Company, Designation, and Department are also displayed.
  3. Instant Reset: If you clear the search bar, the full list of staff names will immediately repopulate.
  4. Intuitive Sorting: No matter your search criteria, the results will always be presented in ascending order based on the full name.
  5. Using Wildcards: The search mechanism already includes wildcard functionality, so there’s no need to use symbols like % or * when searching.

  6. Auto-filter: If you’re typing into the search box, the filter is automatically applied after every keystroke due to the txtSearch_AfterUpdate event.
  7. Default Sorting: By default, the results are sorted in ascending order based on full name.

How to use ?

  1. Go to the HR / Admin management module.
  2. Click the Staff search name button
  3. insert the staff name as you remember (no worries if the first name or last name; Just insert how you remember the staff name
  4. the form will search the database and show all the names matched or closed to the letters you inserted.
