Assets Module User Guide

Overview

The Assets Module has been specially designed to aid admin staff in managing and tracking assets or items tagged with serial numbers that are allocated to staff members and are expected to be returned when the staff member leaves the company. Any items with a serial number, irrespective of their category (like laptops, computers, tablets, screens, printers, chairs, mobile devices, etc.), should be registered in the Assets Module.

Asset Management

You can manage assets in several ways, including:

• Assets Purchase: Insert the quantity and complete information of the assets purchased, including price.
• Assets Assign: Assign the purchased assets to the staff.
• Assets Return: Process the return of the transferred assets from staff.
• Assets Disposal: Dispose of damaged assets and remove them from the inventory.
• Fixed Assets: Mark assets that are used in main areas like cameras or servers.
• Assets Store Transfer: Transfer assets from one store to another.
• Assets Staff Transfer: Change the ownership of the asset from one staff member to another directly.

Asset Tracking and Configuration

The system enables tracking of the condition of assets, their receipt by staff, and how they are returned. If you have any configurable assets, their configurations can be recorded and saved in one place.

Assets History

You can track any asset’s history, such as when it was purchased and who used it, with various filtering options.

Barcode Compatibility

The system is compatible with all barcode readers for quickly entering serial numbers.

Staff Clearance Integration

Assets are integrated with the staff clearance search function.

Bulk Entry of Items

You have the ability to add multiple items’ serial numbers within the same category in a single order.

Walkie Talkie Support

A dedicated section for walkie-talkie devices is included, offering different methods for entering into the system and options to change the frequency for multiple devices at once.

Search Tools

Multiple search tools are available to help you find what you’re looking for. For instance, search by employee number to find what assets they have, or by serial number to find asset information.

Reports

The module includes several useful reports to assist in managing your assets, such as an Inventory Report and a Master List.
