SIM Card Downgrade Procedure

This procedure allows for the reduction of package benefits for existing SIM Card holders in the system. It involves similar steps to the upgrade process, but with a focus on lowering the package level.

To initiate a SIM card downgrade, you will search by mobile number in the system, which will display the owner’s information (e.g., name, designation, department, etc.). You’ll fill up all the necessary fields in the form, and the application will verify if the grade of the employee aligns with the new, lower package. If the grade is not eligible for the downgrade, an error message will appear, informing you that the employee’s grade does not qualify for the requested package.

If the grade is not eligible for the downgrade, an error message will appear, informing you that the employee’s grade does not qualify for the requested package.

If the downgrade is needed despite the employee’s grade, you must fill out the exception procedure as shown in the form. This includes who approved this request and the reason for the downgrade (such as work needs). Once the request is saved, it will be tagged with the same form ID as the original SIM card request.

SIM Card Downgrade – Pending Orders and Approval

The SIM card downgrade procedure operates similarly to the upgrade process in terms of pending orders and approvals. Once you save the downgrade request, it will appear as pending in the counter. You then have to approve it via the form with the request ID.

However, unlike the upgrade procedure, there is no need for a reference form ID to confirm the downgrade process. Instead, once you click on the “post downgrade” button, the request will be updated in the system, and the SIM card status will reflect the new, lower package.
