SIM Card Return Procedure

The primary purpose of the SIM Card Return Procedure is to ensure efficient use of company resources. It allows for the temporary storage and subsequent reassignment of SIM cards that are not currently in use but might be needed in the future. This procedure is particularly useful when an employee leaves the company but is expected to return, or when the management wants to retain a specific mobile number but does not wish to assign it to anyone immediately.

The SIM Card Return Procedure is designed to manage the process of an employee returning a company SIM card, either because they’re leaving the company or no longer require the SIM card for their role.

Follow these steps to return a SIM card:

Step 1: Enter Mobile Number

To initiate a SIM card return, input the mobile number associated with the SIM card into the system. Only assigned SIM cards can be processed for return. If the entered mobile number is correct, the current owner’s information (name, designation, department, etc.) will be displayed.

Step 2: Fill in Details

Fill in the necessary details, including the return date and the name of the store or location where the SIM card will be kept.

Step 3: Complete the Return Process

Once all the necessary fields are filled in, click ‘Return’ to complete the process. This action will release the SIM card from the current owner and update its status in the system as ‘Returned’. The mobile number will then show in the return counter and can be reassigned to another staff member at a later date.

Notice Message!

Remember, all returned SIM cards can be found in the ‘Return Counter’ section for future assignment, or using Available SIM Cards option in the main window.
