    • Navigate to the Assets Module Main Menu.
    • Choose the “Asset Search” button.

    • Type in the asset’s serial number into the first field.
    • The system will automatically populate the subform with all pertinent details related to the inputted serial number.

  3. View Asset Details:

    • The subform will display a comprehensive list of attributes tied to the asset:
      • Asset_ID
      • QTY (Quantity)
      • Company
      • Asset_Condition
      • EmpoyeeNo (Employee Number, showcasing who currently holds or uses the asset)
      • Transaction_Date
      • Project
      • Asset_Availability (Specifies if the asset is available or currently assigned)

  4. Reset and Start a New Search:

    • If you want to conduct another search, use the empsearchbutt function. This will clear the current serial number and related results, allowing you to start a fresh search.
