Overview:

The “User Assign Rules” interface in iClicka provides administrators the capability to define and control the access rights of users to various forms and functionalities within the application. With the intuitive design of iClicka, administrators can assign or revoke permissions with ease, ensuring a secure and streamlined user experience.

Key Features:

  • Module & Form Selection: Use the list boxes to pick specific modules and forms that a user can access.
  • User Permissions Display: A continuous form that dynamically presents the permissions based on selected modules and forms.
  • Bulk Assignment: Assign or remove permissions for all forms in the selected modules.
  • Individual Assignment: Save permissions for individual forms as per requirement.

How to Use:

Assigning Permissions to a User:

  1. Navigate to the “User Assign Rules” from the  Core panel / settings module 
  2. Select a user from the drop-down list.
  3. In the “Modules” list box, select the module(s) you want to give access to.
  4. The “Forms” list box will then display forms related to the selected module. Choose the specific forms the user should access.
  5. To assign all forms within a selected module, click on the “Assign All Forms” button.
  6. For assigning specific forms, after selecting them, click the “Save Permissions” button.
  7. To review the permissions given, the continuous form below will display the user’s access details.

Removing Permissions from a User:

  1. With the desired user selected, choose the modules from which you want to revoke access.
  2. Click the “Remove All Forms” button to revoke permissions for all forms within the selected module(s).
  3. The continuous form will update, reflecting the permissions removal.C
Tips

 

  • You can easily identify the forms a user has access to by the highlighted entries in the “Forms” list box.
  • Ensure that you select a user before making changes to permissions to avoid errors.
  • Regularly review user permissions for security and compliance purposes.
