SIM Card Termination Procedure

The SIM Card Termination Procedure is designed to end the use of a SIM card assigned to a staff member and drop its monthly charge. This process follows the same procedure as the upgrade and downgrade procedures with minor differences.

Procedure

Follow these steps to terminate a SIM card:

Step 1: Enter Mobile Number

Begin by entering the mobile number of the SIM card you wish to terminate. If the mobile number is valid, the system will display the owner’s information.

Step 2: Fill out Form

Proceed to fill out the required fields in the form.

Step 3: Apply Request

Once all necessary information is provided, click ‘Apply request’. This action will update the status of this mobile number to ‘Pending Termination’.

Step 4: Communicate with ISP

After submitting the form, the next step involves communicating with the ISP to facilitate the termination process. During this period, all SIM cards pending termination will be listed under the ‘Termination Counter’.

Termination Pending and Approval Procedure

Once you receive a confirmation from the ISP that the mobile number has been successfully terminated, you will need to finalize the process on your end.

Step 1: Navigate to Termination Counter

Navigate to the Termination Counter where you will find your request tagged with a form ID.

Step 2: Access the Form

Click on the black Button with the three dots located on the same line as your form ID. This will bring up the form you filled out with all the associated information.

Step 3: Terminate Service

Click “Terminate service.” This action will unassign the mobile number from the staff, set its associated cost to zero, and it will be kept in the data center for records and the history of SIM cards rented by the company.

This process allows the company to keep track of all SIM cards that have been rented and ensures that the costs associated with terminated SIM cards are properly managed.
